About FoodRecalls.co.uk

When a food is recalled in the UK, the details are published by the Food Standards Agency (and, in Scotland, by Food Standards Scotland). Most people only hear about a recall by chance: a notice in a shop, a news story or a social media post. We built this site so anyone can check, in seconds, whether food they have at home has been recalled.

Every recall here comes from official FSA or FSS data and links to the original notice. We add clear summaries, a search across product names and batch codes, and history by supermarket, allergen and hazard. See how we collect the data.

Independent

FoodRecalls.co.uk is independent. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Food Standards Agency, Food Standards Scotland or any supermarket. Supermarket and brand names are used only to describe which products were recalled. The site is free to use and may show advertising in future; ads will never appear inside a recall's safety information.

Who runs this site

FoodRecalls.co.uk is run by an independent publisher in the UK.
