Hotel Chocolat is recalling its Ugly But Good Bag containing Lychee & Rose chocolates because they may contain a chocolate made with a macadamia praline filling. The filling contains nuts (macadamia nuts and hazelnuts) which are not mentioned on the label. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to nuts.

An Allergy Alert is issued when an allergen is missing from the label or labelled wrongly.

Hotel Chocolat is recalling the above product from customers and have been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall. The company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers.
