Advice from the FSA notice:

  1. If you have bought the above product and have with coeliac disease, and/or an allergy or intolerance to barley or gluten and/or egg and/or milk or milk constituents. , do not eat it. This product contains barley (gluten), egg and milk making it a possible health risk for anyone with coeliac disease, and/or an allergy or intolerance to barley or gluten and/or egg and/or milk or milk constituents.

Details from the notice

Asda is recalling ASDA Chicken Dinners because the product contains barley (gluten), egg and milk, which are not mentioned on the label. As a result of a packaging error, some packs contain ASDA Beef Dinners. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with coeliac disease, and/or an allergy or intolerance to barley or gluten and/or egg and/or milk or milk constituents.

An Allergy Alert is issued when an allergen is missing from the label or labelled wrongly.
