Details from the notice
ALDI is recalling Gianni’s Milk Chocolate Lollies because they may contain almonds (nuts) which is not mentioned on the label. As a result of a packaging error, some packs have been incorrectly packed with Gianni’s Almond Lollies. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to almonds (nuts). This issue only affects products sold at a limited number of ALDI stores in the Midlands.
An Allergy Alert is issued when an allergen is missing from the label or labelled wrongly.

ALDI is recalling the above product from customers and has been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall. The company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers. This notice explains to customers why the product is being recalled and tells them what to do if they have bought the product.
