The FSA's risk statement:

Allergens: Barley and wheat (gluten), egg, hazelnut (nuts), lactose and whey (milk), lecithin (soya), lupin, nuts, peanuts and sesame.

These products contain barley and wheat (gluten), hazelnuts (nuts) milk, lactose and whey (milk) and lecithin (soya), and they may contain egg, lupin, other nuts, peanuts, and sesame, making them a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to barley or wheat containing gluten, or with coeliac disease, an allergy or intolerance to egg, milk or milk constituents, an allergy to lupin, peanuts, nuts, sesame and/or soya.

Lambertz is recalling Lambertz Mini Spekulatius and Lambertz Christmas Tree Cookies because they contain allergens which are not declared in English on the label. The affected products were sold in Home Bargain stores.

An Allergy Alert is issued when an allergen is missing from the label or labelled wrongly.

Lambertz is recalling the above product from customers and has been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall.
